FUN TIME TIME TIME - off to the printer's
Added 2025-12-10 17:12:54 +0000 UTCHello everyone, just a short post to let you know that I just finished sending all of the files for December's Minicomic of the Month, FUN TIME TIME TIME, off to the printer's.
This is one of those moments where I am going to try my best to emphasize, if you've ever considered becoming a paid member of the Minicomic Club just to check it out, this is one of the best issues to do it with.
The new comic is 16 pages long, digest-sized, and is 100% filled with all-new entirely original material. I set aside the past seven days to work on this comic exclusively, and I've ended up with one of my most-ambitious and interesting long-form cartoon essays, if I do say so myself.
Here's a screenshot of the files as I was uploading them to the printer's website, just to give a sense of the comic's density.

I anticipate receiving copies back from Mixam around 12/19 or so, which will enable me to get them out into the mail before the winter holiday. My family is going away for a very long-overdue and much-needed vacation after Christmas, so I really wanted to get this out beforehand.

Thanks Koen! That little comic about having a big head and pushing the bad ideas out is sort of a joke, but also completely sincere. I do believe in putting things down on paper, getting them out of your brain, and seeing what else might be in there. Glad you enjoyed the comic!

I was especially struck by the preface about having a big head and about the good ideas coming out by virtue of the creative process. As a creative looking to find my voice and pace, I’m inspired. I also thought your story about farming and history was really well articulated and put together. Looking forward to this next issue!
