Hourly Comics Day 2025!

It's now the day after HCD, and I'm finishing up some of the evening comics that I didn't get to. I'm taking a couple of the pages offline for now, as I'll be compiling all of them into a self-published 'zine that will go out to members of my Monthly 'Zine Club later in February. Haha, yes. She’s looking at colleges now… 😅😅😅 I am not the one watching Babylon 5, that’s my two friends in the group chat. I don’t know what they’re talking about half the time but what I gather is that it’s a pretty decent 90’s sci-fi show, but doesn’t quite match the quality of Deep Space Nine

There was a period where I just had the best time going to small press shows and selling 'zines, and really just socializing with lots of other cartoonists and artists. SPACE was one of the most fun. I really haven't done any conventions or shows in a very long time now. Now that you bring it up, the memory of somebody yelling/farting during Dave Sim's moment of silence is coming back to me, and yes, I am thinking it might have been one of the friends who'd come with me that weekend. Very funny memory. I hope things are good with you!

E. when mr. cerebus had the whole crowd do a moment of silence for freedom of speech and someone farted and maybe like an ICP guy yelled "fucking freedom" I looked over and saw you with your head down laughing and was wondering if it was your friend who farted. 😂 I think that was before I met you and realized you drove down from New York as well. I think we laid later chatted at some party in Brooklyn or something. I was a dumb drunken mess in those days. I'm so glad you're still making comics and staying true and I really appreciate reading your stuff about how hard it is to survive doing this kooky business. though it's hard for me to fathom how tough it all is to do while raising children. much love and admiration.
