2021-06-16 13:32:08 +0000 UTCHa. The comic I'm currently working on is set in 2005, and we haven't moved far enough to easily lean into the iconography, or even identify it. I think it's easy with sub groups (hippies, grungers), but the 2000s didn't really have an era-defining subculture with its own mode of dress, unless you count post-9/11 Toby Keithists head-to-toeing American flags imagery?
