Community Update - December 2025

The year has ended and what a year it has been! Hi everyone, it's time for our monthly community recap but before we begin let's take a look at everything Forgotten Adventures was able to accomplish this year! (or go here to see the video version of this recap!)

This year Forgotten Adventures added over 20,000 new pieces to their library, including 48 maps, 3020 tokens, and a whopping 17,202 map assets! That's not even counting all the stuff we made for Token Builder or the amazing stuff we're doing with FA Nexus. Way to go team, and big thank you to all of you for the support through 2025, we could not have done any of this without you and we hope you've had fun using all the things we made this year in your campaigns!

Now, for December, the team over at FA Battlemaps finished out the year with three impressive maps, from the scrumptious Confectionery map, to a special Christmas themed map, Yuletide Abode - perfect for holiday one-shots like our recent Swamp Goblins Mysteries Xmas Special.

And finally they released the massive, double sized map - Desert Slums! Seriously look at the size of this map, and you can even go inside a bunch of the buildings!

Incredible work FA Battlemaps team! That map will really come in handy for the next season of Fears & Fortunes which is returning this month for Season 4 on Wednesdays at 9pm ET/6pm PT! The story is getting closer and closer to its conclusions, so catch up now if you haven't seen it yet!

Meanwhile our Tokens Team knew if you were going to use that Desert Slums map, they needed to polish our old desert guard tokens, so those got a refresh. We also released new Amethyst Dragon tokens, as well as tokens for foxes, turtles, hippos, vultures and simply the CUTEST dragonborn child token!  

Also released this month was a massive update to FA Nexus - Version 0.2 now includes the Building Tool, allowing you to make buildings in seconds, right inside of foundry. Check out the video on our YouTube to learn more or try it for yourself here!

Lastly, the Assets Team brought us some high class parts to use in our desert biomes, with new fancy furniture, chests, and decorative weaponry! That puts the desert biome in pretty good shape, but which biome will we work on next? 🤔
