Community Update - June 2025

Hello hello! It's time again for another community monthly update, where we take a look at some of the community events happening soon, and recap the awesome content released by Forgotten Adventures this past month!

First up, both of our streamed campaigns have a season finale this week, starting off with Fears & Fortunes tonight at 9pm ET, who faces off against the dreaded Puppet Mistress who has been after them since episode 2! Then on Sunday at 11am ET, the Defenders of Phandelver see the conclusion to their epic fight against the forces of Cragmaw Castle! Things don't look good for them as they are low on health, and ended last session with an enemy hitting them with a fireball!

Both of our shows will then take a month long break but have more seasons ahead of them! Seasons that are going to be especially spicy thanks to new maps from the FA Battlemaps Team this month. First we have the trippy locations in the Endless Void, such as Empty Bridge and Toppled Statue in Phandelver Encounter Pack 8.

Then it's time to go back to the city, with four different maps to help you flesh out any urban environment! In City Encounter - Pack 3, you can find a local Butcher's Shop that's fully stocked with the finest meats, a humble Parish Church tucked in-between city streets fit for quiet prayer; and finally a small Town Shack, a perfect place to lay low or a quaint home of a local friend.

Finally, the map team brings the heat with the City Theatre. A gorgeous stage where your players can take the spotlight or take a seat. Whatever they do, just make sure you note the exits behind you or left and right of stage; because the pyrotechnics of this map are as hot looking as they are deadly.

Next we head over to the Token Team who's treated us with a long requested Epic Creature - The Purple Worm! Which is not only massive in size, but is in fact, so big that it requires four different tokens to see this monstrosity in its full glory! It also comes with a variety of burrow holes so you can play out the Tremors inspired DnD session of your dreams. Oh and did we mention the seven color varieties?

As if that wasn't enough, Tokens Team also brought us Creature Tokens - Pack 68 with nine new creatures with designs inspired by the 2024 Monster Manual. The pack includes Centaurs, Azers, Empyreans, a Goblin Psion, a Cyclops Oracle and the Reaper themselves!

But what about if you want to make your own tokens? Then good news, the Token Maker Alpha has been updated and is available for all Adventurer and higher tier patrons! And if it's assets you are looking for, then check out the three updates to our Asset Library we made in June; which included 1,089 assets for rustic structures, winter travel, and a wide variety of furs and hides.
