Hello everyone!
It's time for another community update from us here at Forgotten Adventures. The team has been hard at work creating new assets, maps, and content for you all, as well as preparing for the upcoming changes to Patreon that we discussed in our last update!
To start things off, we have officially wrapped up Season 1 of our first streamed campaign, Fears & Fortunes! We had an incredible time creating the show and deeply appreciate the support from our amazing community. It was a season filled with laughter, tension, thrilling battles, and even a few tears. If you missed it, you can catch the full season on our YouTube channel!

With the success of Season 1, we are excited to confirm that Season 2 is on the way and will be returning in April! Additionally, we are thrilled to announce a second streaming show, tentatively titled Phandelver Defenders, which will also be launching in April. As the name suggests, this show will be a campaign based on the adventure module, Phandelver and Below: The Shattered Obelisk. We have an incredible cast lined up, featuring GloriousGe0rge as DM, along with Graecie, NikbyNight, Oathbreaker Cary, Mozzarelle, and DMJose. We are aiming for a 3-4 season journey through every chapter of the module, making full use of the maps and tokens we’ve crafted for it! You’ll be able to catch the premiere live on twitch.tv/forgottenadventures!
Before the winter season ends, we have a fresh wave of new assets, tokens and maps coming your way to enhance all your snow-covered adventures! These are still in development, but here’s a frosty preview of the assets coming in March:

Now, let’s dive into some important structural changes to our asset distribution. As many of you know, Patreon will be implementing changes to its pricing model later this year, and we have been planning to adjust our file organization and distribution in response. However, a recent issue with our cloud storage service, pCloud, has accelerated our timeline for making these changes.
What’s Changing and Why?
Since the beginning, we have always made our map assets freely available, and over time we’ve built an extensive library containing over 150,000 assets—including textures, brushes, and overlays. We are extremely proud of this work, and we want to clarify that our existing free asset library will remain free. However, the Complete Mapmaking Pack will no longer receive new regular updates, though it will still be available for free download.
Starting with the Arctic Biome later this month, map assets will be available exclusively to our paid tiers. This does represent a significant shift in how we deliver our content. We had originally planned for these changes to come later in the year and with a longer heads up to give you all time to adapt to any changes we would be making. However, we recently hit a major limitation we were unaware of with pCloud: their folder-sharing system has a 150,000 file limit per shared folder. Given the sheer number of assets we provide, we have now reached this limit. This has necessitated a reorganizing of our library to maintain accessibility and future-proof our asset management much sooner than anticipated.
How This Affects You
To address this issue, we are restructuring our asset organization system. Instead of a single massive folder, assets will be categorized into structured folders based on biomes (e.g., Arctic, Desert, Forest, etc.). This change is not just for pCloud but reflects an overall reorganization of our asset library to improve accessibility and scalability.

This change will not affect our current DungeonDraft integration.
If you are a paid subscriber, your content access will remain unchanged—the only difference is the folder structure.
Future map asset releases will be exclusive to paid tiers (while the existing free png library remains available, it will not receive further regular updates).
We understand that these are big changes, and we appreciate your patience as we adapt. We will also be making changes to how tokens are organized later this year, but for now, this restructure only applies to map assets.
The Complete Mapmaking Pack will remain free but will not receive regular future updates.
The majority of our future map assets will be part of our premium tiers.
Our cloud storage and future library structure will be reorganized into categorized biome-based folders.
DungeonDraft 2025 integration remains unchanged.
Paid subscribers will not lose access, but the way our assets are structured and organized will be updated.
These changes mark a significant shift in how we deliver content, and we anticipate further adjustments as we navigate the upheaval from the Patreon changes. To keep you informed, we want to share that we are currently exploring a redesign of our website and investigating alternative content delivery methods to reduce our reliance on Patreon. While we are still in the early stages of planning, we look forward to sharing more details later this year.
To give you something more positive to look forward too, development of the Token Maker we announced last year is progressing nicely. We've have already showcased some of the assets that will be integrated into the app, through our Build-a-Token pack. We are nearing a point where we can provide a detailed announcement very soon. So stay tuned!
Stay Connected! That’s all the major updates for now! As always, you can stay up to date with these changes through our community posts and we are always available for feedback via Discord.
