This though is an idea I've wanted to do for a while and just couldn't nail the design for Gajeel. Ultimately decided simple is best rather than try to reinvent the whole thing. The comic is a rarity for us, if not completely new in that the people involved are already in a relationship before this comic. Add an interesting element to it where we usually have rivals or outright enemies.
For those confused, Levy uses word magic that basically creates text that has the properties of the word. (So the word fire is literally on fire) This is used here for our purposes in a way that is maybe possible in universe? I honestly don't know, FT magic is kind of 'whatever works at the moment'.
