Wow! Fabulous season three summary clips edit. DS9 is a show with seven seasons, but it's still very much got a beginning/middle/end three act structure. And while season three is the first one with real Dominion conflict -- and it has the Defiant and it has big developments furthering along what started in seasons one and two -- it's still pretty much the end of the first act. You're about to enter the really meaty, profoundly beloved by millions of Trekkers, middle act of DS9 (SEASONS 4-5).

Imagine how we felt, when we had to wait several months for the beginning of season 4... ;) On a side note: The "blue guy" is a Bolian. The species was originally introduced in season 1 of TNG and named after the director who worked on that episode - Cliff Bole. The Bolians' homeworld is Bolarus IX and they are members of the United Federation of Planets. The barber on the Enterprise-D, whom you have already seen, is a Bolian, too.
