Superhero For Sale (Lines)
Added 2025-03-09 01:27:29 +0000 UTCApologies for this one being late, the dialogue really wasn't coming together for a few days and so i gave it some time to hopefully put out something better than if I'd just forced it. I'm still not totally in love with it but I've learned not to trust the artist's critic in my brain.
I've always liked the idea of heroes just losing with no real big build up, makes it seem like their power was a façade. But then when I go to write it my inner nerd is compelled to offer some sort of reason.
Auctions normally don't have guys holding up large stacks of benjamins in the air to bid but even looking back at my storyboard that's what I wrote down and I guess just never questioned it until the end where I finally thought 'wait shouldn't they be holding those little signs?'
For the Batman lovers we recently received a commission order for a 4 page Batman comic that will probably go up next month.
