I've had the same idea done more than once in the past but usually its me feeling one version didn't live up to its potential and wanting a second chance. This was just me being forgetful.
As for the comic not a ton to say, kind of just a combination of stuff I like. You can see elements of past Naruto comics in this one as well as a similar premise and punchline to 'Goku Gets a Job'.
Apologies for no text bubbles on version 2 I was really running out of time (its a day late even) so I used the outline method just to make sure I got it done today.
Never sure how these simpler ideas will be received, sometimes I get it into my head that everything should be complex and creative. So let me know what you think and which version you prefer!
