To answer your question, live action movies are generally trying to copy the anime, failing at that, some of them miserably. This action movie is fairly decent, but the anime is way better. The only live action movie that comes close to it's anime counterpart is Rurouni Kenshin. Bleach live action is not good right until the end (when a fight between 2 characters, not gonna spoil which because you're still off like 5 eps in the anime from it) is at the level of the anime, if not even slightly better. But that's a drop in the ocean, a very rare gem of a cool live action scene.
