2024-11-09 02:37:26 +0000 UTCThe only mitigating factor I would give the father here is that he was gone "to work" and probably thought his son would be fine at home like he usually is when he's at work. Going into the evening after being chased, yeah. I get that. But playing hooky from work probably didn't feel like abandoning him. And given the divorce was her decision, I really don't get the wife's mindset here.
