So, the school year just started with Hina, Kyo, and Taiki just becoming first years and Chinatsu and Haryu starting their second year. So it's just the start of the year, and it's May, since it's been a month has passed. School starts in April in Japan.

But they are currently in the middle of the school year right now that's why it will be only few months and they will be third year.
