“Violet is a soldier in the Leidenschaftlich Army who served under Major Gilbert Bougainvillea, who she was utterly devoted to. However, Violet is injured after a mission which resulted in the loss of her arms, requiring them to be replaced with prosthesis. Colonel Hodgins, an old acquaintance of Gilbert, arrives to pick up Violet. He explains to Violet that the war they were fighting has ended and peace has come, though he is unwilling to tell Violet what happened to Gilbert.”

I don't know why my comment failed to post before, but I'll say it again. I'm super excited to see you start watching this show as it's one of my top favorites. It isn't as action heavy as a lot of the anime you've reacted to, so I hope you stick with it and watch it all the way through. And I just wanted to say, you're missing out on some of the Japanese voice acting, man, because they have Violet with the VA of Mikasa from Attack on Titan, Hodgins with the VA of Dio from JoJo's, and Benedict with the VA of Shigaraki from My Hero Academia. It really doesn't matter though. I'm sure the English dub is just as good. I hope to see more reactions of this show in the coming weeks!
