Superb reaction. I dont consider Nathan a villian. Is he weird? Yes but that is a common trait among insanely smart reclusive people, He spends all his time alone with machines. I think he was just smart enough to know the serious risks of AI so of course you would keep a potentially world ending technology secured until you know it is completely safe to humanity, The villian is Caleb. He got Nathan killed all because he was fooled by a calculating machine.
