Army of Darkness is legendary - Ash finally becomes Ash. The Netflix series starts strong - and Episode 1 is GENIUS and canon even if you wish to ignore the rest.

After Ash is thrown into the woods, it begins the continuation, (sequel). So it is considered a reboot / Sequel, which explains that Ash does not return to the cabin, but is the first time. hahahaha
