A great action movie with Russel is "Soldier" (1989) and a fun comedy is "Captain Ron" (1992) also starring Martin Short. The Thing is a cool movie for sure. There is a comic book that takes place after the events of the movie. Plus, another movie that is a prequel depicting the events at the Norwegian Station. But, I like the fan theory that Macready gave Childs a bottle filled with Kerosine (since there were a bunch of bottles being used this way to blow up camp). We never see Mac drink from it and he doesn't have any before he gives it to Childs. Since The Thing wouldn't know what it is and doesn't react to drinking the Kerosine, Mac immediately laughs since he knows he can't do anything about it.
