Excellent stuff, Jonathan. You asked about Carpenter’s catalog, so I listed below how I subjectively rank his Top Ten. I love Carpenter’s work, but I think there’s a significant gap between the top two and anything else he’s done... because I consider his top two amongst the greatest films ever made. 01.
