Goodbye Miami

Well, it’s time to say goodbye to Miami. Today, Sasha and I will be heading to Cairo, then on to explore Africa. And, in case you missed it yesterday, Gioni will be joining us on our adventures!

As you can see, I have wrapped myself up once again in a sheet. I mentioned before that life outside of AI is impinging on my time to create second and third images for a post, so I am keeping them all suitable to post on all platforms. More time will be available soon!

I have managed to, for the last couple of days, share my dream images with you on @ailana.geven.dreams and in a special collection on Patreon. I’ll keep trying to do that; it’s a lot of fun!

Well, today is a travel day. I really need to get moving if I am going to be on time to meet up with Sasha and Gioni. So I will say goodbye for now. (No additional pictures.)

Off To Egypt

We have to get to the gate. I always panic when I have appointments, like catching a flight!

I have mentioned before that Patreon is making changes with what they allow AI to be used for. I have sent them a query, but have not yet heard back from them. The gist of it is that my content might have to change. If it does, I’ll let everyone know and figure out how to proceed.

Meanwhile, I’m off to Africa! First stop: Cairo, Egypt. I was planning to crawl along the coast southward, but I have had some discussion with a reader and friend, and if we can work details out, I might, along with Sasha and Gioni, fly to Cape Town, then work our way back up north.

But the plan is essentially the same: Get there. Explore. Have fun. Share with you.

More Or Less According To Plan

So… this happened…

We arrived in Cairo according to plan. Arranging transportation took longer than expected. Then we got to the hotel.

With sincere and immense apologies, the clerk explained that the hotel had made a mistake and hand given the suite we had reserved to someone else. We were pretty tired by then, so we said we’d just take whatever they had.

Nice room. King size bed. Three of us. I thought it was sort of quaint in a way.

It was a nice way to start our adventure, and it reminded me of slumber parties when I was in middle school. I told Sasha and Gioni to get on the bed while I set up the camera.

Batteries were dead. The tripod got jammed. By the time I was ready to put it on remote control mode and pose with them, they had…

Well you can see.

I thought I’d lie down for a minute, then wake them for the picture.

A minute turned into I don’t know how long. When the remote put itself to sleep, it took one picture. The shutter closing woke me and this is what I found.

Perfect!

That was like 5 minutes ago. I banged out this little explanation, and posted it!

So this is the first goodnight from Africa!
