This adventure is going to be so much fun!

Meeting Sasha and me here are some great people! Andy @acservices1999 and his wife, Aimee are here as well as Jenn @timetravelerjenn1997

We are going to work hard to enjoy this whole weekend and try to get a lot in! Sasha, Jenn, and I have something special planned for tonight. Should be interesting, to say the least.

I’m also excited to say I started a new little side account where I’ll post fun, fantasy and dream pictures. I made a collection for them on Patreon, of course, called Ailana’s dreams. On IG, it’s @ailana.geven.dreams .

Speaking of Sasha, she just texted from her room. Seems she and Aimee have a plan that sort of nullifies this bath! Such is how things go sometimes!

A Day Started Well Goes Well

While I was in the bath, Sasha and Aimee cooked up a plan for us to get some exercise before starting the day. The girls all went to the pool while Andy hit the fitness center!

Sasha had Aimie and I pose for this, and she operated the camera. She's got a great eye, don't you think?

Next, she headed off to find out what Andy was up to!

The Nile River… The lifeblood of Cairo, perhaps.

This adventure is going to be so much fun!

Jenn ( @timetravelerjenn1997 )  and I are here taking in this amazing park and the view. It feels like we are steeped in the ancient while surrounded by the modern.

Any glance at the history of this region will encounter the Nile. I’ll spare you my limited historical knowledge!

Suffice to say, I feel like I’m walking in a dream. I’ve been here less than a day, and see so little, yet my mind is full and I really don’t even know where to next point my eyes!

While I get my bearings, let me say hello to all my readers who call Egypt their home! I’d love to hear your thoughts and ideas about what I should do while I’m here!

Sleeping Under The Stars

The desert is expansive! Yes, there’s room for you, too!

Sasha totally gets credit for this! She arranged permission for us to camp out here, in view of the Great Pyramid, the Giza Necropolis.

For the record, the Pyramids of Giza are located in the Giza Governorate of Egypt. The Giza Necropolis, where we are, is situated around 15 km away from the Cairo city center. I can’t believe we are sleeping here with just a thin veil of fabric between us and the heavens…

Oh, I’ve camped out before. But… this feels different. If I let my imagination run, I can think of all the people of all the ages that have traversed this land!

Sasha, Jenn and I are surely going to have a night we will never forget.
