Min hoped the next day would be better. As was her habit, she arose early and indulged herself with a slow soothing morning. On that day, she started with an actual bath, not just a wash-up. She took her time, then put on a clean bra and panties.
Amir once, having overheard her talking to Vanessa about her morning habits, asked her if she felt that it was acceptable to spend so much time and resources each day on herself. Considering how little the people of the village had, he asked if she thought she was setting a good example.
