Year of the Bunny 9: Yugi (Colors)
Added 2023-05-20 12:00:04 +0000 UTCYugi meeting his match during Battle City! Nonsense fusion cards are always a fun mechanic in tg to me because there's no way the character could plan for it. I chose to have the design be DMG (Dark Magician Girl) inspired because his usual outfit wouldn't have made the most exciting bunny suit imo.
Its something I think about in Yugioh where they imply the holograms do have some sort of presence. Surely the most popular usage of duel disks wouldn't be card games but rather summoning Elemental HERO Burstinatrix to sit on you?
Yugi's hair seems impossible to feminize but the secret I learned from examining other good Yugi tg is that as long as you keep the golden bangs in front you can basically do whatever you want with the rest and he's still recognizable.

Jaden unfortunately didn't make the cut on bunnies, I was trying my best to represent 24 different series (With Marvel and DC being the exceptions because of the way those worlds work) That said Jaden/GX fans have something else to look forward to in a pretty big project I'm working on involving him.

2023-05-23 16:45:58 +0000 UTCironically the King of Games here is wrong, Atem is in fact a card, all the characters are. At least in our world. So weirdly in a meta sense yes the Pharoh is a card. Though polymerzation doesnt work like that. You cant just create any monster its either used to substitute for needed starts to upgrade one monster to another eexisting card or for spefic card that require fusing other specific cards. Player cards also arent monsters. So this kinda sorta works and it doesnt by actual game rules. A more acurante effect would be something that could say use magic/support cards to draw a card from the discard pile or grave yard. Also since the cards are in universe sentient spirits a more acurate way would be something liek a "support flip" card. Sacrifice Atem to resurect some cute girl card that the oposing player is already on good terms with. Sending Atems spirit to the grave yard.
