Hi Pablo
This is my experience with solar , every setup is different
I’m from South Africa, down here the power grid is a complete culster f…..k
Eskom the government entity that runs all power plants in South Africa is making a complete mess of it , so … we have something that’s called loadshedding there’s even stages of loadshedding from 1-6
They implement this when the power grid is under strain , “demand is higher than the supply “
Then they shut down power all over the country for hours a day to prevent the whole grid from collapsing
I’ve got solar and it works very well as long as you have enough battery storage, for at night and when the weather turns shitty
Got a house that’s completely off grid working only with solar and batteries, just have to manage it when it’s cloudy , turn off all the non essentials
Hope it makes sense
Cheers

yes here in Commiefornia, it is happening with blackouts. Even if you have solar panels, if they shut down the grid, your panels are useless.
