2021-07-01 17:46:41 +0000 UTCI just realized (the hard way) that rechargeable head lamps don’t necessarily hold their charge while they’re packed away. Granted, this wasn’t an essential situation (home remodel project in a crawl space), but it still sucked to need it and not have light available. So if you pack something rechargeable in your edc bag, I’d recommend periodically checking it to be sure it’s still working when it’s needed.

2021-06-20 14:28:42 +0000 UTCI don't have an EDC bag other than what I carry on me. Weapon, flashlight, knife, extra mag (sometimes). On overnight trips I will take ham radios with me. I might also take my Goal Zero foldable solar panels and a power bank. However, if I had an EDC one thing that would NOT be part of it is a face diaper. You are correct when you said that you don't have to make a statement about everything. But some things you absolutely have to make a statement about on principle, and for me, not wearing face diapers is one of them.
