Ed Calderon on Revolvers

Happy Friday. We are winding down from an intensive week of content content creation and editing. New content with Ed is filmed and SRS #009 with Tu Lam is making it's way though editing. I can not wait to get these out.
In the meantime, here's a quick video we shot after our interview session yesterday. Jon had a few questions about revolvers.
Cheers!

2021-05-22 00:53:48 +0000 UTCFor 22 years my dad carried a wheel gun and even today 25 years past retirement and with only one good eye he can shoot the head off a snake at 25yards!

2021-05-05 02:24:44 +0000 UTC.38 special revolver is the one I have. It’ll shoot .357 as well. A bit of a Big Bang, but it’s very small and concealed.

2021-05-02 06:45:21 +0000 UTC22lr is completely underappreciated by those who don't really know anything but very much appreciated by those who carry guns for a purpose. One of my favorite YouTubers out there, besides Shawn, is Iraqverteran8888 and he has a video that shows the lethality of the 22lr round. It's some years old but the info in it is as good as ever today. One notable line in this video that I carry in my head all the time about the 22lr round is as follows: "[the 22lr will leave a hole in your body] and any hole in your body that you weren't born with is going to [at least temporarily] incapacitate you". Absolutely true about the 22lr. In today's environment, rather than not train at all, I train with 22lr in both pistols and long guns. I think most of the guns I bought this year and 2020 were in fact 22lr guns, and I love every one of them.
