One question I've been trying to get answered is...What repercussions did Eddie's accuser face? Did they really get to walk away from this cleanly?

Ive seen some things about arrest being because of hostage things in military about to jump on the research oh geez triple checking everything makes it a week project cant believe anything anymore ughh.
