Got a lot of questions about alternatives to the Velocity Systems plates I showed in the Armor Setup #1 video.
Here is a quick video on the plates in one of my other armor setups.
Hopefully this helps gives another option for armor.

2020-08-01 08:21:06 +0000 UTCThe DKx plates are great. Saw them at Shotshow. Neutrally buoyant (like anyone other than Shawn would swim with these things) and multi-strike. They are extremely light. If you use a shoe horn you can get the 10x12 into a Crye JPC Medium. Thanks for the review.

2020-07-15 02:25:11 +0000 UTCI'm waiting on set of multi-hit plates class IV supposed to be able to stop 30.06 ap. These are stand alone plates but I was wondering about your thoughts on the soft pads folks are selling to help lesson the shock?

2020-05-02 03:02:02 +0000 UTCThose are awesome plates and it's amazing how a couple of pounds can make a big difference over ceramics and steel. I recently learned they stop the round by rapidly melting and cooling trapping the bullet inside the plate.
