February 2022 Sketches 19 - Richter (Castlevania)

Here's a sequence featuring Richter from the Castlevania. The idea was suggested by Shin.

"Another idea I had was for Richter Belmont from Castlevania (Smash design of his being my favorite, since there are a few different ones out there). In those games the main character is always collecting hearts (semi Valentine's Day theme lol) so I had the idea that Richter finds some kind of spell or relic that, instead of giving him magic power when he collects hearts, he grows bigger and stronger." 

Richter was having a harsh time going through Dracula's Castle. Lots of trial and error was involved, and trying the many weapons that he could find in his way. 

The ultimate obstacle he was facing was Death, him losing against the hooded skeleton many times. Each time he tried using one of his current weapons, but they were useless against the sneaky spectre!

Things were looking dire...until he found an item he's never seen before! A heart shaped item, but for some reason, it was stored in its "active item" slot. He didnt know how it worked...but he might as well figure it out while fighting Death!

He did his best dodging Death's scythes, finding any opportunity to hit the Reaper whenever he could. He was about to hit the hooded figure!...But the skeleton dodged at the last second, Richter hitting a candle instead. This one candle letting out a Heart, like most other breakable pieces of furniture....but the heart, instead of going straight down, it flew  towards Richter!

The moment it was absorbed into Richter's body, he could feel a sensation he's ever felt before through his whole body! The number of hearts he's collected didn't raise weirdly enough. Before he could think about it any further, his upper torso surged in size and muscle! Shredding his top clothes instantly, revealing his strong, bulky body, which was even bulkier than his normal, already strong body! Death was really confused at this display, stopping himself in his tracks to keep attacking, as he's never seen this kind of power through all his years fighting against the Belmont family...But Richter, with a smirk on his face, knew quite well what to do...

Richter, suddenly rushed towards Death, the spectre being caught off guard, dodged as fast as possible...but then noticed that, RIchter wasn't targeting him...but instead more candles! Each candles that Richter broke let out collectible hearts, and each of them homed their way towards Richter body! Each heart adding a surge of power and size for Richter's growing body! At this rate, Death already could tell what was Richter was plotting, and tried his best to get rid of any breakable furniture that was around...but he made a mistake, since each piece of furniture let out a heart which flew its way directly into Richter, the big vampire hunter happily receiving them, hands on his hips as the hearts were being absorbed into his strong chest, his pecs visibly bouncing bigger, giving them a much more plump, soft look...but still strong looking enough that could break a boulder! 

Death was getting nervous, as at this rate, his scythes were breaking the moment they touched Richter's body. At that point, Richter should have been satisfied, as that was enough to beat Death...but he didnt want to just beat Death...he wanted to destroy Dracula, and every single monster in this castle! That's when he thought, that pieces of furniture stored hearts...but what about the rest of the Castle's structure! And so, with one big, strong swing of his massive arm, he destroyed one of the nearby pillars...and just as he expected, a bunch of hearts showered out of the structure! All of them flying towards Richter, making him inch bigger with each heart absorbed. Now Richter was determined...he was not going to keep exploring his way towards Dracula...he was going to plow his way through the castle, and bring Dracula to him! His determination being shown as Death was just a minor annoyance now, him being more focused about destroying anything in his way, being fed showers of hearts each second that passed, each step that he took feeling heavier and stronger than the previous one, his feet leaving big footsteps through the floor, and the castle shaking more and more the more he grew! Death was hopeless, there was no way he could stop the growing vampire hunter anymore...

It didn't take long for Richter to burst out of the rough, his muscles stronger than any material that the castle was made of, him easily destroying anything that his strong muscles touched, as hearts kept on flying towards him, making him grow bigger each second.

He was already towering over the whole castle, easily seeing the whole structure from his point of view...well...as long as he saw past his massive pecs! 

At his size, what remained of the castle...seemed like a comfy spot for him to lay down! And so, he decided to take a break from his growing spree, and plopped his massive, heavy body on top of the remains of the castle! Destroying it even further in the proccess, the whole area shaking from the earthquake that the young vampire killer caused...him really happy with himself with how massively powerful his become. The destruction of the remains releasing even more hearts, making him expand bigger...and as he expanded bigger, his body kept on destroying more of the castle, as his muscles steamrolling any structure that they touched as they grew, making a constant cycle of destruction and growth! 

As he made himself comfortable, he might as well accomplish his main goal! As he easily destroyed Dracula's tower, and fetched the minuscule, lil' bat from his chambers, the Oh so frightening king of darkness struggling in the hands of the massive vampire killer!

Now, what will Richter do to the lil king? Whooo knows haha
