[August release] New editor and bug fixes

New update is here! This one is mostly about fixing bugs and improving the UX. I ran out of time to add a new position, sorry 🙏

Here's the new stuff:

Improved character editor

In preparation for the new items and features coming in a future update, the editor got a make over.

Better navigation

The main categories are on the left side, while the specifics are on the right. I tried to remove as many scroll bars as I could, while adding more UI clues. Now you can tell at a glance there are 3 possible lengths for this short for example.

Remembers your choices

Now, if you pick a skirt, and revert back to the shorts, the editor will remember the options you picked and won't revert to the default values.

More camera options

You can now focus on different parts of the body from any panel, using the 4 buttons on the right side of the character

New fast travel menu

The old menu was getting crowded so now you get a little map instead (not to scale, like, at all). Hovering each location will show its name below (and in the future, will also show info about the map)

New feature: Freckles

Player preferences

You can pick between Auto (the current behavior), Top or Bottom. I might add a more complex system later.

Other stuff and bug fixes

• Prevent the characters from becoming pitch black at random times.

  • This one is tricky and might not be fully resolved, but at least it should not happen as often as before.

  • This bug also took me a huge chunk of time and is the reason why there isn't a lot of content this month

• The randomize panel was improved (Character editor).

• Fix the breast moving in random directions when editing the character.

• Improve the spacing between smaller breasts.

• Fix the user presets not loading their thumbnails.

• Fix the eye colors when loading a preset or using the randomize panel.

• Fix the randomize panel putting the wrong clothing on characters with breasts.

• Fix the nipples and ears defaulting to a black color.

• Fix the skirt causing weird deformations on the body and other clothes.

• Fix the door in the archives that refuses to let you out.

• Add a tool to update the credits automatically

  • That one is just an internal tool for me, and yes I was making the edits manually until now (when I didn't forget).

  • Also if you don't want to appear in the credits, send me a message!

Future plans

I feel like I should really focus on the existing game, polish what we already have and really make the experience as good as I can before I move on with the story. The lack of audio and the poor performance in some areas are really annoying me so I think I'll focus on these two points for now. But let me know in the comments if I should work on something else instead!
