November 2020 Sketches 6

Here's a picture featuring Simon from Gurren Lagann. The idea was suggested by Robin Hafner.

"Something with Simon the Digger from Gurren Lagann? Maybe, having eaten tons of food, starts growing bigger and bigger from Spiral Power? The 'peak of evolution' is having more room in your stomach to eat more food, after all!"

Knowing that the decisive battle was getting closer, Simon HAD to prepare himself for the clash. He made sure to do his best to train, but just training wasn't enough, he had to have all forces in his favor!...And what better way to do that than having the Spiral Power completely on his side!

From his influence, he convinced different planets to start harvesting pure Spiral Power for him to power up. In his first stop to one of those planets, he was about to prepare a cord to connect it to his mecha, but he accidentally tripped right next to the pool of pure Spiral Power, him falling head first into it. He contained his breath thinking that he wouldn't be able to breath in there, until he couldn't resist more, and took a deep breath...only to find out that he was able to breath just fine! If anything, the hug gulp of energy felt quite refreshing. In an almost instinctive way, he kept on inhaling the energy, him feeling the energy course through his veins. He thought it was going to take quite a while for the whole pool to empty, but he didn't notice that his body was growing bigger with each gulp he took! It didn't take long until his now barefeet, which bursted out of his boots, touched the bottom of the pool, which was several meters deep.

Once he landed and took the last gulp from the energy, his torso was above the height of the pool, giving him a nice reference of how much bigger he's grown. He wasn't too surprised, if anything, he was hoping that the pure Spiral Energy would power him up...but this is a MUCH better turn of events~ While rubbing and admiring his new, colossal body, he started pondering what to do next.

Once he was able to show his sheer power to the other planets that were cooperating for him, he started to get even more demanding. Sure, he'll make sure to save everyone once the time of the final battle comes, but he can't work well with an empty stomach. He went as far as to not only harvest the energy, but to also make them into huge Cinnamon Rolls! Each made with fluffy dough, with a glowing spiral on them, showing the rich filling that was full of Spiral Energy. Whenever he arrived to one of the planets to claim his meal, he was several times bigger than the last time he visited, dwarving any buildings and mechas that were next to him. People already had a while city-sized place for him to sit on, a couple of huge craters made from his ever growing buns. Once settled, people used machinery to bring him all the Spiral Cinnamon Rolls they've produced, only for them to be devoured by their gigantic hero. He was already pretty powerful before, but now there won't be any known force in the universe that'll be able to get in his way, or escape his grasp~
