Rusty Seas - The Plan Going Forward!

I've been letting people know when they've asked, but I decided I ought to make a public post to make sure people are in the loop.  This coming year, I plan on pivoting all of my effort into developing Rusty Seas, a sort of top-down beat-em-up/collectathon featuring furry girls in bikinis fighting over salvages on the beach.  Y'know, the sort of thing I might develop.

I want to budget all of next year towards working on the game.  Though I don't anticipate it would take the whole year, I want to make sure I'm setting aside enough time for the inevitable hiccups and overhauls, and giving myself a reasonable window to finish the whole thing.

So what will this mean for you?  For everyone, it means I probably won't be open for commissions for a while, and if I do open it will be sporadic and for smaller projects, so I probably won't be taking on six-page comics like I have in the last couple of rounds.  For Patrons, this will likely mean the usual content will thin out a little, as coding leaves much to be desired in the visual department.

HOWEVER, I'll be doing my best to set aside one day every week towards drawing, just to keep in shape, even if it's personal stuff, and I'll make absolutely certain to post an art update at least once every month.  Additionally, patrons will get access to alpha builds of Rusty Seas as it's developed.

Partly for my own sake, here's my outline of things I'll need to do going forward with Rusty Seas:
- Finish developing the first quarter of the game as a demo
- Create a promo/hype reel
- Figure out the music - maybe send the hype reel to the artist whose tracks I've been using as placeholders on stream to see if he's interested in a deal.  Fingers crossed!
- MARKETING! - This I would need some help with.  I'm one of those old fogies that thinks a good product will just promote itself.  I know some people I can ask, but it shouldn't hurt to get more direction/input.
- Finish the rest of the game - I make it sound easy when I put it like that...
