August 2020 Sketches 2

Here's a picture featuring Sora from the Kingdom Hearts series. The idea was suggested by Michael.

"Sora from Kingdom Hearts, having grown to gigantic, beefy size in a city, carrying Riku in one hand as he marches through the city"

After Sora and Riku were able to reunite in the World that Never Was, they decided that they should try their best to train before the decisive battle! And what better way to train than leveling up fighting a bunch of seemingly endless hordes of Nobodies.

Now that they were together, no Nobody or Heartless were match for the besties duo, Riku slashing his way through groups of Nobodies, while Sora covering his back knocking away any Nobody that lunged into them. They were the perfect match!

The hordes kept on coming and coming, until they found a safe place to rest for a while. Both of them were exhausted, both of them landing on their butts on a sidewalk, sitting right next to each other. Both of them looked at each other, and chuckled. This really brought back memories, back when they used to constantly compete against each other in Destiny Islands. Just to tease Sora a bit, Riku said "C'mon Sora, I thought you were stronger than that~". Both of them chuckled once again...but this time, Sora felt an inner flame kindle inside of him. During all this time looking for Riku, he's become much stronger than he was before, all grown up in every sense of the word, and this was the chance to show Riku how much stronger he's become!

Sora quickly jumped and stood up, while giving a gleaming smile down at Riku. "I think it's about time to show you how strong I've become! I'll keep on training until no Heartless or Nobody gets matches our strength!" He said right before heading to the Nobody filled streets. Riku would have stopped him, but he also knew Sora was able to take care of himself. If anything goes wrong, he was pretty sure Sora would ask for help, or run back to the safe place.

Sora kept on beating more and more nobodies, the EXP points flowing through him. He was in such a good streak, that it almost felt like no matter how much he fought, he would never got tired! ...Until at one moment, something happened...It was the feeling of turning into a Drive Form! Shattering glass could be heard while feeling his body change, keeping his eyes closed in the proccess. Once the feeling was over, he looked over himself...weirdly enough,his outfit took a color he's never seen before turning into...it seemed like an aquamarine blue. Either way, there was onlyone way to find out how it worked...and that was to keep on fighting! 

He kept on fighting, this time, it felt much easier to fight this time! This new form made fighting much more...refreshing, it felt that whenever he defeated an enemy, a refreshing wave of energy flowed through his body. That refreshing feeling just made him even more excited to keep on fighting!

In the heat of the moment, he wasn't noticing anything weird besides the refreshing feeling...but what he didn't notice is that with each enemy he defeated, it seemed like the energy from those enemies was absorbed into his body, and adding up to his size and mass! He went from a skinny teenager built, to an athletic young adult....to an experienced bodybuilder...to a gigantic beast that would put even Hercules to shame! Each enemy made his body surge upwards. Each attack became more powerful than the last. After noticing the changes, he was way too excited to see how much bigger he could get, and how surprised Riku would get to see him being this big...and getting even bigger! Sora put away his Keyblade to use his bare fists and kicks to defeat his enemies, since the Keyblade got a bit too small for him...and his punches and stomps definetly covered more area. Each punch, kick, stomp...butt smash, any attack he made defeated many enemies at once, making him grow exponentially to the number of enemies he defeated. He kept going up and up...Until he dwarfed the tall buildings around him! That was when even the empty Nobodies became too afraid and started to run away, Sora cleaning the streets from any stragglers. Sora cleaned his hand, feeling all accomplished, and happily headed to where Riku was waiting for him, making all the buildings shake with each step he took.

Riku was jsut relaxing, hearing all the clashing and exploding sounds from afar, he figured Sora was doing pretty well, so there was nothing to worry about...until he could hear....thud...thud...THUD! Loud, trembling noises coming closer to the safe place. WHat was it, a Darkside? A Behemoth?? Whatever it was, Riku quickly got up and summoned his Keyblade, prepared for anything that was coming his way...Until a huge foot landed right in front of him, the impact making Riku lose his balance and fall on his butt. Riku couldn't believe the size of the tank-sized foot in front of him...he already had a feeling on who that foot belonged to...but he decided to find out by looking up...and up...and UP! Until he found his sight meeting with the eyes of the behemoth himself, a big, bubbly Sora looking down faaar above the ceileings of the building around him, bouncing his pecs while giving his signature gleaming smile down at Riku. "So! Whatcha think? DO I look strong enough for ya?" Sora said in a playful tone, while reaching down with his huge hand to grab Riku. Riku, having experienced many nightmarish experiences, wasn't too overwhelmed by this situation...weird enoug for him to feel a little nervous, but the fact that it was just an overgrown version his best friend, it helped him to stay calm. Sora softly grabbed Riku, and brought him up his face. "Heh, you know, I think this mught be my favorite drive form so far~" He said chuckling at himself "But you know,  like all other Drive forms, it'll run out at some point, so...wanna join me for a walk through the city? It does look kinda beautiful from up here, even with everything going on...and maybe we could play some more later~" Sora said while nuzzling Riku, Riku being softly pushed into Sora's palm, him just answering with a hug for his  big friend's nose. "Sure! But once everything's over, you should totally teach me all about Drive Forms~" Riku said while winking at his huge friend. And so Sora took his little friend to a nice stroll to the now more peaceful city of The WOrld that Never Was.
