"rich" ppl just want a superiority complex over others, even though, like you said, most ppl are closer to getting on food stamps or losing their house than they'd like to admit. I also worry about how much ownership or entitlement middle class ppl have over poor ppl in the food stamps convo. just bc your tax dollars goes towards paying for food stamps does NOT mean YOU SPECIFICALLY should get a say in what OTHER PPL eat and drink. I wish we could choose what our taxes would pay for bc I'd much rather pay for someone's twinkies over weapons of warfare used overseas, but idk
