I finally got around to LIB and the way ppl talk about AD is so weird and nitpicky. And it’s usually other Black women talking about her this way, Black women that have similar features to her!!! AD is beautiful, she seems like she has a beautiful and sweet soul, and it pisses me off the way she’s spoken about

It’s normal for artists to go on tour following an album, but I think this one was just a little weird because she announced the tour WAAAAY before her album was set to drop, so now there’s confusion on how she was supposed to tour with very few songs. She said on her IG that she cancelled cause of an injury though ☹️

2024-03-12 01:00:45 +0000 UTCaw i highly agree with the last point i also think it goes to show that artists like tinashe and kelela who perform at smaller venues not only are willing to have more intimate experiences with their fans, but also that they are there for the craft and actually have the desire to give people a performance like you can just see the ache and need from their performances - it’s something that rejuvenates them, not something that they have an obligation to do because they just put out an album.
