I love this type of stuff. I use to be a cheap travel kinda fella. Nowadays I’d rather wait and be at least a bit comfortable. I stopped doing discount airlines to save like €50 especially if it’s the shitty far away airport or the other airline gives you a free bag or giving better flight times. 6am flights, panicking about the weight & having to walk to most far away gate. I do stay in Ibis (cheap hotel) because it’s more businessy and I can collect points and get a discounts in their nicer sister hotels later on. Also, I stopped doing booking dot com unless I don’t care because I can’t go through turning up and reception not knowing who the fuck I am. Always book directly if you’re anyway nervous about fuck ups.
