2022-04-15 23:59:56 +0000 UTCIām here for the airport rant. I just flew home yesterday and a fight was about to breakout because this family put about 50 coats in the cabin storage. It drives me mad. Also, I HATE when I goto a America and baggage claim (at least before covid) is willy nilly accessible to the general public. I did a domestic flight and nearly had a heart attack when my friend from that city was just standing there at baggage claim waiting for me. Iām confused, why can the general public just walk into the baggage area, now I RUN in American airports, I donāt want my shit snatched. TSA are assholes and they donāt get train to deal with international passengers, for example no one has a clue outside of America what a fucking FL ounce isā¦.I asked her āis it also 100ml hereā and she couldnāt tell me. Itās not the staff fault but they need better training. Also, taking off your shoes isnāt normal around the world, donāt bark at me because I didnāt do it immediately. Also when you ask my flight number (some kind of security check) donāt bark on me I said DL1234 instead of Delta 34 and for putting my birthday DD/MM/YY. If you work at JFK, Atlanta or LAX there is no excuse to be ignorant that America does everything backwards and never follows what rest of the world does. You donāt have to know off by heart but donāt yell at foreigners for not knowing obscure American conventions. Rant doesnāt apply if you work in a regional airport in Ohio
