I know one of the issues folks had with the campaign is the painting in the background. Jean-Michel Basquiat’s “Equals Pi" is part of Tiffany's private collection. One of his wishes was to have his work in a museum as opposed to being tucked away. I'm not entirely sure how accurate that is, but the people who knew him spoke on that. Regardless, the blame rests on Tiffany, not necessarily Beyonce and JAY-Z.
