I don’t understand why y’all have such a problem with China talking about her religion. It’s very bizarre to me because she’s stated multiple times that she doesn’t care if people are atheists, she’s sharing her opinion so I’m not seeing the problem? She’s not changing anyone’s stance on anything

2021-04-13 05:06:56 +0000 UTCThat's understandable but shouldn't we focus on helping those poor kids/families instead of just saying they shouldn't be allowed to exist all together. There are so many different situations that lead to poor people having children, issues with sex-ed and access to protection - I don't think there's a clear cut solution that won't end up punishing some people for simply trying to navigate through life. Besides eradicating poverty of course. So until then, I don't think its fair to look down on poor people for having children if they are trying their hardest to take care of them despite the circumstances they've been dealt. It's fine if you wouldn't personally have kids if you were in that situation, I'd doubt I would either but the reality is that many people end up on that path and its not entirely their fault they're in such a shit situation. Well IMO lol
