2020-05-23 04:04:16 +0000 UTCOmg I loved this video this book sound: absolutely amazing I just ordered it - I’ve really been looking for things just like this like I enjoy queer works of art that have some complexity and show more than the typical coming of age stories or other tragic stories. I think it’s so interesting to see queer people of this age group especially because we don’t have models of what stages life should look like for queer people because of the aids pandemic and oppression. Stories like this sound so refreshing for contemporary literature. Can’t wait for the next book club Kenya 💞
