2021-12-17 03:38:33 +0000 UTCI'm born in North America and biracial (Asian/caucasian) and speaking generally Asians are SO racist, and it doesn't matter where you're from--Asians mostly don't like each other, they're just like Europeans in that sense. Asians racist hierarchy is their own country first, caucasians second, and other Asians third, and then the darker your skin tone is the lower the respect they have for you. I think we should try to correct anyone who's racist anywhere but some situations are definitely difficult/scary to navigate. I completely agree with you about Asians' racism being unchecked and there's a weird sort of "untouchability" they've given themselves in their solidarity to like...be equally bad as each other and accept that? It seems because Asians are neither black nor white they get to exist on some separate plane but that simply isn't true. They're acting like white people while using the excuse of not being white to justify it...but not being white isn't a 'get out of racism free card' unfortunately.
