And if he was ever to let those feelings for her become even stronger it would set off Klaus. Bcuz if you remember Klaus was getting jealous of them getting close bcuz he’s afraid of his child growing up and calling Elijah father and not Klaus. Which once again Klaus will feel abandoned again. Cuz he’s always worried that he’s going to be abandoned. And if the child were to do that. That would definitely set off Klaus for good. And Klaus does care for Hayley though I know they haven’t really shown it. And not just bcuz she’s having his baby.

Rebekah running around trying to topple the empire is just annoying. But I’m extremely biased towards Klaus and Marcel so 😂(just caught this in your discussion but Rebekah hasn’t been allowed to leave Klaus’s side. Both times she chose love over Klaus, Marcel and Stefan, Klaus daggered her for decades)

2023-06-16 17:29:06 +0000 UTCI feel bad for Elijah man. The fact that he’s so loyal to Klaus but doesn’t feel like he can just talk to Hayley because Klaus is so damn insecure is honestly really sad. And Rebekah was kind of right with what she said. If Klaus and Hayley were to stand against each other, who’s to say Elijah wouldn’t take his side because he loves her? He already did that when Tyler came to town.
