A little update from me
Added 2025-05-18 22:51:07 +0000 UTCHi guys, I hope you guys have been really happy, well and healthy. I have had a bit of a hard week, I would say. I really injured my toe at the gym and I haven’t been able to go back to the gym. I haven’t really been able to cook because my toe has been in pain but it’s a lot better now. But it was so painful for 4 days. Also I think I’ve got a little bit of the seasonal depression or whatever they call as it’s suddenly really really cold in my city and I’ve been receiving a lot of online abuse over the “last of us” and I’ve been accused of being a “shill” just because I enjoy the show. I’ve been abused for standing up against the online bullying that poor Bella Ramsey is going through over her psychical appearance. I loved the first and the last game and I genuinely think that it is one of the best game to TV adaptations other than fallout and it hurts to know that some people out there will abuse you just for enjoying something. This person had, said in his 3 hr livestream where they watched my entire 20 minute video though: “I better spank her arse oh wait she’s in Australia. I better get somebody else to spank her arse for me” just because they didn’t agree with something that I said, And insinuated that I needed to be disciplined because of it. He said I was reading off a script and that I wasn’t genuine in my reactions and they he’d basically stolen my content and used it for his own channel in a negative way. Copyright claims weren’t helpful. I am used to being accused of all sorts of crazy nonsense on the Internet because it’s the Internet, But sometimes it still gets a little hard. Luckily I have incredible loved ones who support me and really take care of me and really help me through a lot of the hard times and luckily one of my loved ones had watched the video completely and was able to report it for inciting violence because of the arse smacking comment that this YouTube user had made in his video… anyway because of this whole thing I’ve become a little bit hesitant in covering the last of us so I will probably stop at season two and enjoy season three whenever that comes out privately. thank you and I am sorry. The internet has sadly always been a somewhat toxic environment from it's start for the most part. Don't let it get you down, keep on doing what you love, and what your audience is here for. Accusations and insinuations on youtube are usually unfounded and just someone else trying to get attention from their audience. It's easy for everyone else to say "ignore them, move on, and pay no attention to the haters", but it's never easy dealing with those kinds of remarks directed at you because it is in fact a very personal attack. But in this case I agree with everyone else. Do your best to put it behind you and don't let it affect you or the content your audience enjoys. I haven't seen it, I probably never will because it's not something I'm interested in. But I won't attack others just because they are. Seems pretty silly, petty, and uninspired to go after someone else's content just because you don't like it. Hope you are feeling better and looking forward to more of your Netflix Marvel content.
