I read the book. It’s very good. I’m a huge baseball fan. The movie is really good, but they dramatized a few things like making Art Howe a really dour character. IRL he is universally loved and Scott Hatteberg said he never had a problem with him. Also, Grady Fuson the scout who is fired, he was later rehired and he and Billy Beane actually got along pretty well.
