Other great Nicolas Cage films are "Vampires Kiss"(1989) and "Mandy"(2018)

Coen brothers are hit and miss with me but I do respect their non-conventionality. This one is a miss. That said, it features Holly Hunter, one of the actesses this guy has a. 'movie crush' on ... meaning you don't know the real person but think you do through the parts they play, for me her role in "Broadcast News". She did win Best Actress Oscar as a mute Scottish woman in "The Piano" and my crush grew deeper for her performances in the series "Saving Grace" and the film "Always". Highly recommend "Broadcast News" for a Mary Cherry review for it's brilliant witty comedy and Holly's performance.

Coen Brothers and Nic Cage, cannot go wrong.

Intolerable cruelty is right up there with Ladykillers as being the worst Coen Brothers movies.

Jay Wooderson

Tex Cobb was iconic in the 80's! I would have loved to meet him

(It might be necessary to emphasize that the title refers to the standard justification for divorce, and does not reflect the mood of the movie.)

Holly Hunter who plays "Ed" is Mrs. Incredible in "The Incredibles" Ed's annoying girl friend is played by Frances McDormand who is married to one of the Coen Brothers, she's in most of their movies. She played the main character in Fargo, the pregnant cop. I actually met the scary biker guy when I was a kid, the actor is Randall "Tex" Cobb, he's a former Boxer and martial artist. My mom saw him on the street in Philadelphia grabbed my arm and ran over to him and basically said that "Raising Arizona" was her favorite movie. He was very nice especially considering my mom basically ran up to him out of no where.

The dialogue in this movie is so eloquently written. I love the Coen brothers
