Nice watch, thanks Mary. Other Gene Wilder recommendations Sliver Steak or Stir Crazy. Both films team up Gene with Richard Pryor a ground breaking comedian of the 70s and co-writer of Blazing Saddles. Another fun fact about Young Frankenstein, all the 'creature' making equipping in the lab were from the original Frankenstein movie and used by permission. Cheers.

We lost Teri Garr this past October, and Gene Hackman, who played the Blindman, just passed away on February 27 at age 95. I remember my grandfather telling me about seeing the original 1931 Frankenstein at the theater; that is a classic you might want to watch if you haven't seen it.
