The actor who plays Chuck Cedar is Peter Gallagher, known for his role in Sondra Bullocks first big hit, While You Were Sleeping (the guy in the coma). I did enjoy hearing Mary's singing voice. The plot is a common trope theme in movies when the average Joe suddenly gets super rich, a fantasy of all those who play the lottery.
