I think the Joker cannot be held down to one interpretation, I think this is a good one. Some people may have some critices about this interpretation but like Dave Chappelle said once " some people say that cucumbers taste better pickled"

2024-09-25 14:51:32 +0000 UTCThis film is such a powerful damning indictment of American social institutions and an apathetic society as a whole, especially when it comes to those that live on the fringes of that society. WE failed Arthur. It asks us to take some ownership in that fact. I think this movie does a fantastic job of showing that. And Joaquinβs performance is just on another level. Definitely a difficult watch, but of course intentionally so. Great film. Great reaction. A lovely day to all π
