This is a movie I put on when I just want to laugh. I remember watching it for the first time, about halfway through I realized “that’s Velma!”.

2024-10-03 06:06:29 +0000 UTCThis movie was made back before gaming was mainstream yet. This isn't really that far off of how game studios were back then, just dialed up a bit for entertainment. Gaming culture was not considered cool at all until pretty recently and software development has always been filled with a lot of socially and sexually awkward introverts. In any case, this is a legendary comedy that didn't really get the love it deserved at release but grew a huge cult following afterward.
