One of my favorites. Brilliant how they were able to condense ten seasons of a television series into a 2-hour movie. Great cat-and-mouse story.

I didn't see the original Star Wars movies until after The Force Awakens came out. It really is a perfect action thriller with all the fat cut out. I would have loved to see Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones star in another movie together.

2024-09-03 19:49:52 +0000 UTCFor the science fiction fans: I was most distressed to witness this conflict between Han Solo and G'kar. Regarding the director Andrew Davis, his previous film was Under Siege (1992), arguably the best Steven Seagal movie. I recommend it. (It also featured Tommy Lee Jones; The Fugitive was the third Davis movie in a row with him.) Looking at IMDb, I realize I also saw two of his next three movies, Chain Reaction and A Perfect Murder, which I'm less enthusiastic about. Career summary: he was a reasonably successful action/thriller director around the '90s, and his films generally feature name actors.

2024-09-03 16:30:42 +0000 UTCThere is a Leslie Nielsen parody to this film called Wrongfully accused(1998) which I found very funny. There is also a film somewhat similar to this starring Tommy Lee Jones and Benicio Del Toro called The Hunted(2003) which I enjoyed alot. Awesome reaction Mary.
