Because Charlie Cox’s Daredevil, Vincent D’Nofrio’s Kingpin, and Jon Bernthal’s The Punisher are all back in the new series. MCU also announced that the Netflix series are cannon with the MCU now and Daredevil Born Again is basically Daredevil Season 4. Also the way to watch Daredevil character is Daredevil Season 1, Daredevil Season 2, The Defenders, Daredevil Season 3, Spider-Man Far from Home, She-Hulk Episodes 8&9, Echo episode 1. The way to watch Kingpin is Daredevil Season 1, Daredevil Season 2, Daredevil Season 3, Hawkeye episode 5&6, Echo Season 1. The way to watch The Punisher is Daredevil Season 2, The Punisher Season 1, and The Punisher Season 2.

The entire murder and courtroom plot of the movie is cut from the theatrical version. There is literally nothing tying King Pin to any crime by the end of the theatrical version.

While I do love the tv show more which you gotta watch since there brining Daredevil shows back next year Daredevil Born again . The tv show does expand on Elecktra, Matts lawyer partner Foggy and Kingpin too and everyone even Ben the reporter
